More uses for Salt: Polish up your tarnished copper pots by using a little salt and vinegar. Sprinkle the pots with salt. Then with a cloth dipped in vinegar, scour your pots until the tarnished is gone. Wash as normal. Remove rust stains with a thin paste made of salt and vinegar.
