Vinegar is an inexpensive and fantastic addition to any beauty regimen. Vinegar can clear up skin, reduce age spots, treat acne, and condition hair.

10 Ways to Use Vinegar as a Beauty Product

  1. Reduce Age Spots – Vinegar with onion juice may help reduce the appearance of age spots. Just mix equal parts onion juice and vinegar, and dab onto age spot. Repeat daily and after a few weeks you should see the age spot lighten.
  2. Itchy skin – Relieve itchy skin by adding 8 ounces of apple cider vinegar to a warm bath. Soak in the tub for at least 15 minutes.
  3. Relieve aching muscles – Add 8 ounces of apple cider vinegar to a warm bath, relax and let the vinegar loosen your tight muscles.
  4. Aftershave – Keep a small bottle of apple cider vinegar in your bathroom. After shaving, give your skin a little splash. This will help keep you skin soft and young looking.
  5. Skin toner and cleanser – Use a mixture of half water and half white distilled vinegar to wash your face. Rinse with water and then splash a little apple cider vinegar and let air dry to seal in moisture.
  6. Oily skin – Help oily skin by using a mixture of half apple cider vinegar and half cool water. Apply to your skin with a soft cloth and let air dry. The vinegar will work as an astringent.
  7. Chapped skin – Mix equal parts vinegar and hand cream to help chapped hands.
  8. Hand scrub – Clean very dirty hands by scrubbing with cornmeal that has been moistened with a little apple cider vinegar. Rinse in cool water and let dry.
  9. Hair conditioner – Just add 1 tablespoon of vinegar to your hair as you rinse it. The vinegar will improve cleanliness and shine.
  10. Dandruff - To help control dandruff, massage full-strength vinegar onto your scalp several times a week before you shampoo.
